Boolean drop boxes apply to the entire contents of a field. To use Boolean operations within a field, use the following operators: & (and), / (or), ! (not). These operators can be nested, for example: (Tabor & Haugerud) ! (Frizzell / Booth) in the "Author" field would find items authored by both Tabor and Haugerud, but not by either Frizzell or Booth.
